Thursday, November 3, 2005 - Featured Model Profiles
We are now building profiles for our featured model section. The profile format will become a standard template used by both Independent Acting and Independent Performer. All the relevant profiles can accessed from the main modeling root profile. Additionally, the relevant TALON contact database information will serve as a back-end for all featured profiles so the models and talent can be contacted. Models and talent with no web sites and prospect screening experience can elect to let us help them screen offers by using our talent contact information and let us forward them genuine offers (this is a free service option that comes with all featured talent profiles). Featured model profiles will also link to more pictures on the models web site or their host, bypassing normal TALON protocol. The fist model profiles,. which we are using to debug the standard format, will be for model/ actress/ singer Harmony Oswald and model/ singer/ actress Ann Poonkasem. In the case of Harmony Oswald, there will be a link to her online portfolio on the Aurora PhotoArts photography web site.
Root URL's for main profiles will be formatted as such for all talent profiles: http://www.IndependentModeling.Com/talentname.html. This can be abbreviated as something like "IndependentModeling.Com/talentname.html", which is simple and an easy extension of the IndependentModeling.Com domain name. This will give them an easy domain name address that will link to all of their profiles, web sites, and online information. They can place this domain name on their composite cards, head shots, cover letters, and resumes.
The featured model, actor, and talent menus in the main sections will go online once the profiles are uploaded and TALON support is up.
