Friday, June 30, 2006 - Professional Support We will be putting a lot of work into the professional support of both models and the businesses that book them. We will also be assisting photographers, but to a lesser extent this year. The support will come in the form of large sections devoted to them, with tutorial trees and relevant resources. First, our main goal is to open their eyes and demonstrate the it is both possible and professional to work without a model agency involved. Second, we will make it easy for them to do so with or without this site and give them tools that will make other professionals accountable for what they do. Expect a lot of work on attracting advertising agencies, art directors, and businesses to this site. We are going to be calling and establishing professional relationships with every last one. While we will be pushing our decentralization concept, we will be using things such as our job board, TALON, and our featured model section as an incentive to keep people coming back to our site and to utilize it in their careers. This will pave the way for our portfolio networking features, databasing, and tiered functionality next year, where we will replace existing portfolio network sites as well as define what a professional modeling resource and networking site should be. The portfolio networking and membership additions will work nicely with the design of our existing site, as we have worked out the details. Expect some revolutionary features to come to this site in 2007! Some of our site features will be upgraded and enhanced. We will be adding more to our featured model section, too, which will heavily cross-reference with our model job board. If an art director or business does not see a model that they need in our featured model section, there will be links leading to tutorial sections that will encourage them to post what they need on our job board, which, of course, will remain a free service. We will be working on content this weekend. Expect updates to resume early next week NEXT - PREVIOUS - NEWS - CONTACT
