There is no arguing against common-sense and proven business practices. Modern professional models think for themselves, network, and book work both as independent models and by using agencies as one of many sources of jobs. This is the future of the modeling industry. Thursday, June 29, 2006 - Frontier Society Update
Most of you who have followed our progress (and admittedly lack of progress for many months) know that Independent Modeling, Independent Acting, Independent Performer, and TALON all use Athena Class web site formats. This format was developed for Frontier Society and prototyped for model Ann Poonkasem at AnnPoonkasem.Com (check it out to see just how flexible Athena Class sites can be for design work!). The format has been very successful, and because of this it has now been decided by the EOS web team that Frontier Society will initially use an Athena Class format after all.
The Frontier Society web site launch has been delayed over the past year because of format issues. It was decided to use the new Frontier Class site format instead, and the new site class is still in development. Since Frontier Society needs to become available yesterday, the team has finally decided to use an Athena Class site format, although they have not ruled out transferring content to the Frontier Class site format when development is complete. Advanced Model is also on the waiting list for a Frontier Class site, and may end up prototyping the format before Frontier Society is considered.
Expect Frontier Society to launch in July. This site is critical for our success, and most have no idea just how important that it is to get the long-delayed site online, as Frontier Society was originally supposed to launch back in 2003! Advanced Model is also due online later this summer or in the fall.
