16, 2005 - Upgrade This Week
After the sites are up to speed, Independent Modeling, Independent Acting,
and Independent Performer will have their first code update- meta tags will
be updated, button designs will be adjusted, and a "Classifieds"
text link, which was not in the original design document, will be added. There
are some pages with content dumped on them that need to be cleaned up, as
well, simply because they are interfering with the targeted ads on our pages.
All the sites are designed to be upgraded easily due to their CSS templates.
In other developments,
work is progressing quickly. Later today, the web team will finish Independent
Performer and bring the TALON Database, which is presently at a few entries,
online. TALON will start out small but will grow dramatically, and by the
end of the year should have more professional contacts than any other talent
and entertainment resource site (not counting link farms- which TALON is not).
The job/ audition boards should be up by tomorrow, and the featured talent
profiles by Friday (both depend upon TALON).
