Saturday, June 24, 2006 - TALON Updating
Our team may have to delay working on Independent Acting and Independent Performer a week or two after we finish getting Independent Modeling up to speed this week. The reason? TALON is a mess, with entire sections down, and it's going to take a bit of work. The TALON Database serves as a back-end of all of the Independent Sites, and it has to be working correctly for our job/ audition boards, featured model/ actor/ talent sections, and tools to function correctly. We will be working on TALON tonight and most of next week. By July 1st it should be up to spec and will be coming along nicely. TALON will not be up to full capacity until September, however, due to the fact that it will take time to format and upload several hundred contact profiles in all of the categories. We intend to get TALON as large as possible so it cannot be abused by unprofessionals.
We just completed our TOOLS section and have it up to spec, but there is a lot we cannot link to yet because the contacts don't exist at this time. This will change quickly.
