Thursday, July 14, 2005 - Helping More Professionals We've had our share of friendly debates over the past few days regarding just how far the independent modeling business model can go. Well, let us say that this can go all the way; this is the true future of the modeling industry. We believe in what we are doing, and have created professional tactics that work. Independent Modeling has been helping models book work without an agency and has been teaching models how to self-manage and promote their careers for years. This isn't going to change, and will only improve. There is something more that we can do, however, that will enhance our ability to help models, and that thing is to assist model industry photographers and the businesses that book both models and photographers. We will be expanding our tools to assist all professionals in the modeling industry, and the irony is what we teach on this web site can also be used to improve modeling agencies and help their bookers do more business (but only if they choose to use the information and evolve from their old-industry business model). What's really exciting? The fact that we will be working with advertising agencies, businesses, and art directors by teaching them how to book models and photographers without an agency. We will also help them to see that models and photographers can be booked this way with no additional risk or time spent. Independent Modeling has already received the endorsement of several professional art directors and advertising agencies, as they have seen first-hand that the process works! In related news, we have come up with a two-level job resource system which will prove to be useful. While models don't need to know the details at this time, we'll be sure to let art directors, businesses, and advertising agencies know, as all of those services will be made available to them free of charge. The revolution begins now. NEXT - PREVIOUS - MORE NEWS - CONTACT US |
