Thursday, July 7, 2005 - New Site Progress Is Excellent The Independent Modeling is now completely up, and we are waiting for the job board to come online on Monday, as well as more content to be added. Some of the ported content have to be edited, too. Independent Acting and Independent Performer are being updated today and tomorrow, and will be fully operational on Monday. While it seems that progress is slow, it isn't really. Actually, the new format is making porting content blazing fast, and we have taken some extra time to upload image libraries from our photographer partners as well as adjust some code to optimize the sites for both search engines and ad content. We will be uploading over one hundred more images in the next two weeks to fill the site pages (check out our new credit system by clicking on the images). Also, due to the way that the new job boards are formatted, we have to get TALON up before the job boards can be uploaded and used. We are also working on getting our featured talent sections up, which will tie in with TALON, too. It will be well worth the wait. As soon as the three independent sites are up to speed and TALON is established, the EOS web team will work on getting Frontier Society online. This process should be completed by the end on July. In August, expect extensive promotion of all the sites on a level which we have never done in our history. NEXT - PREVIOUS - MORE NEWS - CONTACT US |
