Model And Talent Agency ASA Anti Scam Agreement Model And Talent Agency ASA Agreement Two (2) Page written agreement between the model agency/ representative and the model. Read DISCLAIMER before use. All ASA Agreements are provided as-is and FREE OF CHARGE! These are used to clarify the terms of any professional interaction and also to verify the references of others. Talk is cheap, and an advertisement or a model job post may be misleading. Make them put it in writing, and stick to your guns. Do not trust anyone until you have worked with them and you get to know them. Read our disclaimer, study the forms, print out, and use. We assume no liability for the use of these forms - use at your own risk. Click on any ASA link or thumbnail to read and print out. Click on the print-ready agreement or click the browser back-arrow to return to previous menu. You can return to the FORMS menu from here, too. Forms are linked in context. After printing a form, you may click on it to go to the next page (if applicable) to print out that page. If you are on the only page of a form, or are on the last page, clicking on the form page will return you to this menu. To use this agreement, click on the images one at a time, and print out each of the full screen versions at full resolution or your printer's default setting. YOU MUST PRINT OUT ALL FORM PAGES TO MAKE ONE AGREEMENT. The Model And Talent Agency ASA Agreement is a model's dream come true, but it will not be popular with the model agency representative that is made to fill it out and sign it. Although there will be some model agencies that will frown at such an agreement, if they are professional and they are not doing anything unethical or illegal, most will sign it. Our sponsors will have no problem signing this form when they have go sees, and neither should anyone else. If any one refuses to sign this agreement, that model should leave the agency and figure out why they refused to comply. In most cases, it could indicate that the agency was some sort of scam, and the model just avoided being taken. This is free for the model to print out and use. We do not give anyone permission to take it and use it on their site as their own work. We do not give anyone permission to profit from this work or attempt to copy it and reverse engineer it in any way. Since this is a first generation agreement in the scam busting series on either Independent Modeling or Independent Acting using anti scam technology to be released, expect revisions in the coming weeks. Incidentally, this new type of contract works in two ways. Obviously, the main way that it would work is if the model has the model agency representative sign it. The other way it works is when the model reads it, they become familiar with how the scam would work, and even if they did not use it they would have their eyes opened. Additionally, the model should inquire as to why if any model agency refuses to sign it, as it may point out an problem with that agency. This ASA was first uploaded to the Internet and made available for use on Independent Modeling in the pre-dawn hours of Monday, March 8, 2004. Instructions for use:
Read over the document pages to make sure that you understand it. NEVER attempt
to use any form, agreement, or contract without studying it and becoming familiar
with it first, and if you still don't understand it, take it to an attorney
and let them have a look at it for you. Print out TWO (2) copies of EACH PAGE
from this web site for any model and talent agency that you feel uneasy about.
Both you and the model agency representative sign BOTH AGREEMENTS, and one
goes to them, and you retain the other one for your records. If you feel that
the model agency representative or the their staff breaks the agreement in
any way, contact an attorney and REPORT THEM. In this case, make copies of
your filled out copy and submit them to your attorney and the authorities,
too. If you have any problems, issues, or questions using this agreement,
let us know about it. For more about model scams, or to report one, go HERE. Check out our list of licensed Florida model and talent agencies in our TALON Database. UPDATED 12/06/06
