All content, which includes modeling job leads, is traceable, and we verify web traffic and the source of our information. Independent Modeling is a resource site for independent and agency-represented models who wish to enhance the marketability of their modeling careers, as well as have an advantage over limited models; those limited models being agency-only models who do not think for themselves, do not invest in their career, and allow modeling agencies to manage them, and to tell them what to do. Other limited models include models who try to put together competent professional modeling portfolios for free, using TFP, and who try to compete against professional models with cheap career tools. The independent models who use Independent Modeling are smart, professional models who know enough that to have an advantage over other models, that they have to invest in their careers. Independent Modeling is NOT a modeling and talent agency, and we do not claim to be. We do not directly refer models into modeling jobs for financial compensation, and do not represent models. Independent Modeling is not intended to be used for any advice, which includes legal advice, and any advice which can only be legally given by a licensed professional in a regulated profession. For information, and reference, only! Use at your own risk.

For now, we have a simple search engine where you can search Independent Modeling, Independent Acting, and Independent Performer by searching through the Independent Modeling domain name, as both Independent Acting and Independent Performer are seen by search engines as being a part of Independent Modeling.
In the future, expect an advanced search engine that configures specifically for what you are looking for. We have a team that is coding our search engine technology from scratch. Our next generation search engine will do the following and more:
1. Search the content of Independent Modeling, Independent Acting, Independent Performer, and related sites that we choose to include.
2. Search our next generation user serviceable job and audition boards.
3. Search our TALON Talent Database by different categories including geographic location and recommendation ratings.
4. Search our portfolio networking profiles by an array of different variables- we are serious about making our portfolio networking search better than existing ones with accurate results (top advertisers and profiles with high recommendation ratings in TALON would show up at the top of returned results, of course).
5. Search our forum network by categories such as member name and subject.
6. As a final note, it may search the Internet. We are looking into expanding TALON as an entertainment, production, and talent search engine for the Internet.
