Independent Modeling is a resource site for independent and agency-represented models who wish to enhance the marketability of their modeling careers, as well as have an advantage over limited models; those limited models being agency-only models who do not think for themselves, do not invest in their career, and allow modeling agencies to manage them, and to tell them what to do. Other limited models include models who try to put together competent professional modeling portfolios for free, using TFP, and who try to compete against professional models with cheap career tools. The independent models who use Independent Modeling are smart, professional models who know enough that to have an advantage over other models, that they have to invest in their careers. Independent Modeling is NOT a modeling and talent agency, and we do not claim to be. We do not directly refer models into modeling jobs for financial compensation, and do not represent models. Independent Modeling is not intended to be used for any advice, which includes legal advice, and any advice which can only be legally given by a licensed professional in a regulated profession. Work Continues.

We have spent the past month working quietly on a lot of things. We have also been having a lot of meetings. What exactly? You will find out shortly. Everything is almost in place for aggressive promotion and updates if this web site.

One issue that we had to address was exactly how much we would make available on Independent Modeling and the other sites. With Independent Modeling site director C. A. Passinault now working on a modeling book, we had to make sure that we would not be "giving away the store". We believe we have finally found an ideal balance, and will still be able to effectively undermine model managers and model consultation scams who think that they are making the right choice by ripping off our sites and trying to resell our free information and tools to models. What you don't see on this site right now isn't because we are out of ideas and that they don't exist, but rather the opposite. We have more ideas than we know what to do with, and many of these ideas have the potential to be revolutionary. We simply are not, however, in the position to work for others without our consent and knowledge. Countermeasures have been adopted that work and still ensure a balance with our other projects, and this took a few weeks to work out. What you will find on this site are excellent and will help models, but our best work will be published in the book and in the upcoming membership section of this site.

We have done a lot of work to prevent unethical people from stealing our material and using it to bait models. This is going to stop, and those who persist will endanger their own credibility and may end up being served with a lawsuit if they continue, and yes, we know who they are and everything that they are doing. One of our missions is to know our enemies and to keep a close eye on them.

We will be working with more attorneys. For the past few years, we have adopted a defensive posture legally. We are working toward being able to take an aggressive offensive posture in the legal arena.

Let the games begin. Will you play by the rules with honor and integrity, or can you afford to take the risk of losing in more ways than one?
