Friday, November 18, 2005 - Large Updates

We've been working all night and have made the largest set of uploads in our history. The web team threw twelve hours of hard work into the sites, but the sites are so large that you'll have to look hard to notice some of the additions. All the sites were completely refreshed twice (which makes everything on the site brand new now), which took an hour of FTP uploads at broadband-speeds. It may not look like it, but the sites have been upgraded and updated heavily. We are now starting to focus on upper-level content, so coming updates will be noticeable. Updates will continue throughout the day, all weekend, and heavy updates will resume Sunday night, Monday, and Tuesday.

Independent Performer and TALON are up, but it will take all weekend to get enough TALON Database entries to get the TALON menus up. We are also looking foward to at least a day of work to get the featured talent and job boards up, too. These sections should be completely up by Tuesday, November 22, 2005. We will be in excellent shape by Thanksgiving, and even then our web team is scheduled to work through the holidays.
