Independent Performer Updating.

With the job board completed on Independent Modeling and the new audition board completed on Independent Acting, the team is working hard on Independent Performer today, which was really incomplete in many ways compared to the other Independent Sites. This work should only take a day or two, and once it is done, the web team can finally get to work on TALON, The Talent ONline reference contact database for models, actors, talent, production professionals, advertising agencies, art directors, and the businesses who book them. No model and talent agencies? We don't have much love for the past. This database will give everyone the contacts that bookers used to hold over the heads of the models who they represented. Long live capitalism and the evolution of the modeling industry toward a safer and more professional experience.

Don't expect any new job posts on any of the boards until TALON can support it, as it serves as a back end for all of the job board resources. The team nosed around in TALON subdirectories yesterday and were not pleased to discover that things that they thought were done are not. Add another day of work to get the database where it needs to be.

The real fun begins next week.
