Independent Modeling is a resource site for independent and agency-represented models who wish to enhance the marketability of their modeling careers, as well as have an advantage over limited models; those limited models being agency-only models who do not think for themselves, do not invest in their career, and allow modeling agencies to manage them, and to tell them what to do. Other limited models include models who try to put together competent professional modeling portfolios for free, using TFP, and who try to compete against professional models with cheap career tools. The independent models who use Independent Modeling are smart, professional models who know enough that to have an advantage over other models, that they have to invest in their careers. Independent Modeling is NOT a modeling and talent agency, and we do not claim to be. We do not directly refer models into modeling jobs for financial compensation, and do not represent models. Independent Modeling is not intended to be used for any advice, which includes legal advice, and any advice which can only be legally given by a licensed professional in a regulated profession. Thursday, August 11, 2005 - Web Team Schedule

The talented web team over at Tampa Bay advertising agency EOS MediaArts, who are behind the design and the updates to Independent Modeling, Independent Acting, Independent Performer, and TALON, are a busy bunch. They are also working on other web projects for other companies, including a new photography web site for our partners over at Tampa photography company Aurora PhotoArts. The EOS web team recently gave us one of their tentative schedules for the next eight weeks. Although the dates may change, it gives you an idea of the scope of their workload and what it planned.

Independent Modeling, Independent Acting, Independent Performer, and TALON


Scheduled to be completely online on Monday, August 15, 2005, after a six week development upload. Sites will update heavily for the following week, with daily job board updates. Heavy promotions start on Monday, August 22, 2005, leading up to the 4th anniversary of Independent Modeling on September 4.

Aurora PhotoArts


New Venus class photography business site due online the week of August 15. Site to be finished upon completion of initial Independent Sites outlined above. New Aurora PhotoArts site will use visual based navigation as a primary means and will launch a brand new, advanced, refined news and update section! The new Aurora PhotoArts site is compatible with the image formats used on the Independent Sites, which means that their images used on our sites can be used for their online portfolio, which cuts down on redundant work for the web team.

Frontier Society, Frontier-Society.Com


Frontier Society, established as a subculture in 1993, has had a web site in the works since 2003. The web site format, the new Athena class from EOS, was finalized in late 2004 and was applied to the Independent Sites that you are now on. This makes Frontier Society online compatible with the Independent Sites by default.
Due online the week of August 22, 2005, the content range is scalable, and Frontier Society will tackle unlimited subjects and content.

Eventi Events


In late August the web site for Tampa Bay event planning company Eventi Events will be heavily updated to support holiday sales and marketing. All updates will utilize CSS template technology, with the existing site upgraded gradually with CSS as content changes warrant (the reason for the gradual change is that the design is deemed to be perfect and no major changes in the site design are slated for the next year). Updates will include full support for Frontier Society, and Frontier Society will be a resource and a partner for this company much like Independent Modeling is for Aurora PhotoArts.

Passinault.Com


A new site is in the works, and is due in September. The site is said to be an advanced Diana class site formatted much like the Eventi Events site.

EOS MediaArts


The EOS web team will finally get a chance to do the web site for themselves. Due in September, the format and design specifications are unknown at this time. It was rumored that it would be a Diana class site, but this may not be the case, and it could be an advanced Venus class site much like the new Aurora PhotoArts site.
