Our new Featured Model Section came online on January 4, 2007, after being offline from the past two versions of the Independent Modeling site for over three years. This section serves as promotional centerpiece and a gateway to the TALON Database profile and the professional web site of the professional model as well as the photographers who took the images featured on their profile Web Comp. Each model will have a three-look Web Comp demonstrating their professional range of looks. The Web Comp is designed by Tampa Bay photography company Aurora PhotoArts, and the format is licensed to other photographers and photography partners. The rate to be featured here (as of 01/04/07) is $7.00 per month (payment is due annually. Profile activation is after payment of first year), and the featured model profile includes a professionally formatted Web Comp that can be used on the Internet and as an E-Mail attachment. Featured Model Profiles are treated as professional advertisers, but our current rates are well below what we normally charge advertisers. Presently, we have a deal with development partner Aurora PhotoArts where their modeling portfolio photography and composite card clients will get a year as a featured model free of charge, as a bonus.
The point of being a featured model on this web site? It will increase your TALON profile exposure over the others, and it just so happens that this section has the most visitors on Independent Modeling; this has the highest web traffic! With high traffic and reduced competition, this will be more effective than any portfolio networking site.
