Other limited models include models who try to put together competent professional modeling portfolios for free, using TFP, and who try to compete against professional models with cheap career tools. The independent models who use Independent Modeling are smart, professional models who know enough that to have an advantage over other models, that they have to invest in their careers. Independent Modeling is NOT a modeling and talent agency, and we do not claim to be. We do not directly refer models into modeling jobs for financial compensation, and do not represent models. While Independent Model is an excellent modeling resource and one of the best sources of career information for the model who works and plays in the 21st century, we are going to be inspired by the overall philosophy of our sponsors and educate while we entertain. This is a section of both real stories of the adventures of models and fiction inspired by true accounts. Instead of boring, text book like tutorials, you will get to read how models apply what they learn from the Independent Modeling web site. You can also learn from their mistakes without making those mistakes yourself in real life, as well as share in their successes. This is also the home of the documented dramatizations of professional independent model Cameron Passinault in the regular series Born Beautiful, an Independent Modeling exclusive! We have twelve episodes planned for the Born Beautiful serial in 2004 and 2005, and they will be available to read and enjoy on this web site free of charge. Born Beautiful is penned by Tampa author and award winning novelist C. A. Passinault, and is also planned to become an independent film soon.

1.1. Model Cameron Passinault in Born Beautiful, Episode One: Independence. Cameron Passinault, an 18 year old professional independent model in Tampa, goes to her first independently booked go see, with surprising revelations.

1.2. Model Cameron Passinault in Born Beautiful, Episode Two: Runway Talk. Cameron and other models prepare for a big runway event, and Cameron makes a friend for life. During the long hours involved, Cameron's modeling career strains her personal relationships; especially one with a long term boyfriend.

1.3. Model Cameron Passinault in Born Beautiful, Episode Three: The Path. Cameron helps a model deal with an issue that she is having. She starts to work with Valerie.
