Q. What gives you the right to adjust TALON Ratings? Who made you the judge?

A. These are our sites, and this is our database. That gives us the right. If someone gets mad and doesn't want to accept their TALON rating, then that's fine. They can leave the site and the database. We will put them on a list and disqualify them from ever participating with our sites again. Do you really want to burn bridges with market leaders?
If people want to make it difficult for them to be held accountable for how they conduct their careers, that's fine, too, and they can request deletion from the database. Their competition will remain, benefitting from being listed on a database that we are determined to make a market standard.
We encourage anyone who is not satisfied with their TALON Rating to work within the system to improve it. Even if we have an issue with them, we cannot ignore great references from reputable professionals. If they conduct themselves as responsible professionals, they will redeem their professional credibility regardless of what we think, and their rating will go up. Our intentions are to be fair, and you'll find that we are fair. Oh, and before anyone points out potential conflicts of interest concerning possible high ratings with our business partners, please look around and note that their competitors may also have high ratings in the database, too. Not exactly a biased buddy club, is it? Making our friends look good compared to their competition is definitely not our intention, and you'll see plenty of evidence in the database that this is not the case.
That said, only request deletion from the database as a last resort. If we don't accept the reason that you give us, we will reference what happened and you won't be eligible to participate with our sites anymore.
