Q. Does TALON do anything more, other than list contact information and reference ratings?

A. Yes, it does much more, and will only increase it capabilities in the future. It serves as a standard contact for higher site features. The TALON Database also serves as a back-end or foundation for featured talent profiles, classified ad posts, site content credits, and job posts. See a picture of a model? Click on it. It will tell you who the model is and who the photographer is. The credits may also list other contact, such as the make up artist or client. Click on those credits, and they lead to their individual TALON Database profile. Cool, huh? It makes referencing credits and checking references easy. The exception to the credit system would be advertisers- they are the only accounts that don't reference TALON directly, and they link to an advertiser contact profile where the advertiser decides if they want to display their TALON rating or not. The advertiser, while they will still be listed in the TALON Database and can be checked out, is paying for the service, and they may not want to display a low TALON rating on their advertising contact section. It's up to them.
TALON will be expanded in the future, too, with even more features. Member activity, which includes independent site message board posts, will be able to be tracked by their TALON profile for easy referencing. After all, you are what you do.
