The TALON Talent Online Industry Contact and Reference Database was developed by Independent Performer in 2005. The purpose of this database is to list entertainment industry and professional business contacts. For references, contacts can be cross referenced by their contact index and by a TALON Rating system. As of 10/06/05, the TALON Database and Rating system are hardwired in CSS HTML and controlled by our administrators using information on file. In the near future, the existing information will be ported to a PHP/ MySQL database, and at that time TALON Ratings will be determined by votes. The actual database will be edited and administered by the users at that time.
The TALON database began life as an online booker contact database component of Independent Modeling's TRIDENT enhanced model job resource back in 2002. The reference parts began life as Independent Modeling's PMB Database of 2004, which was known as the Professional Model Bureau. The flaws of the PMB system have been corrected, making the TALON Database a valuable tool for the entertainment and business professional.
